Calling Abroad from the Czech Republic

To call abroad, dial 00 + country code + national number of the line being called abroad
E.g. to call a number in the United States, dial 00 + 1 + area code + local number


Internet Cafés and WiFi Internet Access

WiFi hotspots with a high-speed Internet connection are plentiful in the Czech Republic. Many restaurants, cafés, shopping malls, hotels, and even some trams or trains offer free WiFi access.
With the expansion of WiFi and smart phones, there has been a decline in the number of Internet cafés but you can still find them around.
